Joel  Marion








Joel Marion has been the Administrative Coordinator of Menno Simons College since 2012. Joel has a BA (Hons.) from the University of Winnipeg, with a double-major in Politics and Conflict Resolution Studies, and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the Schulich Executive Education Centre, York University and the University of Winnipeg. His honours included the Douglas W. Leatherdale Global Citizens Internship, Simons Foundation internship, and the Lloyd Axworthy Scholarship in Politics. His research and volunteer interests include international human rights, international development, democratic development, and transitional justice.

Joel has traveled to Northern Thailand with Canada World Youth; to Kinshasa, DR Congo, as an international election monitor as part of his CRS Practicum; and studied International Law at the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Joel serves as a founding board member of the Canadian International Council, Winnipeg Branch, and has recently begun part time studies in the Master of Public Administration program.
